Eric Baumer (c/o 2004) is attending the school of Information and Computer Sciences at the University of California, Irvine in pursuit of his Ph. D. Erin Seabolt Bond (c/o 2004) spent a year teaching second and third grade at a charter school for children with learning disabilities. She is currently pursuing an MFA in creative writing (nonfiction track) at the University of North Carolina, Wilmington, where she is also a Graduate Teaching Assistant. Ednasha Bowers (BS - Liberal studies '01; MPA '03). After graduating from UCF in 2003 with a Master's degree in Public Administration, Ednasha relocated back to South Florida and began an internship with the City of West Palm Beach Planning Department. She was promoted to Planner in 2004 and worked in both the Growth Management and Historic Preservation Divisions. In March 2006, she was promoted to Project Manager for the Northwest Area of the Downtown/City Center CRA District for the City of West Palm Beach Community Redevelopment Agency. She is responsible for planning, organizing, and managing major redevelopment programs and activities involving commerical, industrial, and residential development, as well as, public infrastructure and facilities. In addition, she negotiates contracts between the Agency and developers and/or consultants and acts as a business/community liasion to the area. In the near future, she will begin work on either a Ph.D. in Public Policy or a J.D. in Commercial or Contract Law. She can be reached atebowers@wpb.org.

Naomi Brownstein - (c/o '08, B.S. Mathematics, B.S. Ross Champion (c/o 2004) is currently a professional JetSkier and live in Oceanside, CA. I am fortunate enough to get to travel around the world for contests and shows. I finished this year ranked Second in the world, and made it to 6 countries on tour this year. You guys might have seen me on Discovery Channel's Stunt Junkies, Fuel TV's "Nitro Circus" and "Adrenelina TV," or a show I did for the Extreme Channel (I know...good luck finding the Extreme Channel in the US). I am not out saving the world...but I sure am having a good time.

Tiffany Chuck (c/o 2006). I am nearing the end of my first semester as a graduate student in the school of communication at the University of Hawaii at Manoa. Besides school, I am occupied with my job as a Teacher's Assistant for the Cambodian Language (Khmer) studies professor. I also work as a Production Assistant at PBS (Public Broadcasting Station) Hawaii. As you can tell I'm really busy but I still have time for surfing, cliff diving, and hiking! Hawaii is a beautiful place with many opportunities for outdoor adventure. Learning Hawaiian pidgin (slang) has been challenging, and trying different Hawaiian foods has been very exciting.

Ashley (Zysko) Comerford: (BS '02) After graduation I married fellow UCF Alumni, Brett Comerford (BS '01). After living in California during 2003, and in New Mexico from 2003-2007 during Brett's service in the US Air Force we settled in Virginia Beach, VA. We have a wonderful two year old son, Ryan who fills our lives with happiness and keeps us busy, but we also are loving spending lots of time back at the beach. I love my job at the Northrop Grumman Newport News Shipyard and Drydock (where we build nuclear powered Aircraft carriers and submarines for the US Navy) where I work as an Environmental Engineer in the Radiological Controls Department. Vanessa De Rosa (c/o 04 Legal Studies)- I am currently finishing up my second semester at Stetson Law. I am next year's elected VP of the Hispanic Bar Assoiciation and treasuer of Phi Alpha Delta. received her Bachelor's Degree with Honors from the University of Central Florida in 2004 and her law degree from Stetson University College of Law in 2007. During law school, Vanessa served as the Florida Regional President of the Hispanic National Bar Association - Law Student Division (2006-2007) and President of Stetson's Hispanic Bar Association (2006-2007). As President in these two organizations, Vanessa, with the support of the Tampa Bay Hispanic Bar Association, launched a Mentor Program for Stetson's Hispanic law students in February 2007. Upon graduation, Vanessa was recognized with the Thomas E. Penick, Jr. Award for Community Service and was one of fifty-three graduates nominated by Stetson and inducted into the Who's Who Among American Colleges & Universities (2006-2007).

Currently, Vanessa is an active member of Jacksonville Hispanic Bar Association and serves as chair of that organization's Mentor Program. Vanessa began her career in the workers' compensation field working as a paralegal for different prominent attorneys from 2003 to 2007, and is now committed to practicing in the area of workers' compensation defense.

David Diel ('02, Mechanial Engineering). After graduation, I moved to Massachusetts to study at MIT. They've kept me busy, but I've also had the opportunity to see some amazing developments of science, while building some good friendships at both MIT and Harvard. Stacey (Barreto) DiLiberto (c/o 2003 Foreign Language) graduated with her MA in English: International Literature from Montclair State University, Montclair, NJ. She spent 2 years at Montclair State University in New Jersey studying English, comparative literature and literary translation. My thesis was on translation studies and the French-Caribbean novel, Pluie et Vent Sur Telumee Miracle. I tutored students at the University's Writing Center as a Graduate Assistant. She was then hired back at the school as an Adjunct Professor. She is currently a freelance translator for a company working from home. Stacey is now back in Orlando and has accepted a job as a high school teacher for Orange County Public Schools for the 07-08 school year. I got married to Samuel DiLibeto, a UCF Alum (c/o 2002) in May 2005. We have an orange tabby cat named Macaroni. Adrienne Engell (Digital Media: Computing for Media; Minor: Computer Science c/o '03) is currently employed as a Senior Web Developer for the Disney Interactive Media Group, where she works on website projects for sites such as disneyworld.com. Tyler Fisher (c/o '02, '03) I am thrilled to report that I have just been awarded a Fulbright Program grant for research in Mexico City. My graduate studies in Oxford are drawing to a very satisfying conclusion. I am finishing two books under contract, I will be defending my doctoral thesis this summer, and two Oxford colleges have already offered me fellowships: a postdoctoral fellowship in the Arts at Christ Church, and the Queen Sofía Research Fellowship in Spanish at Exeter College.

Nicolette J. Fontaine, J.D. is a Florida Licensed Booking & Talent Agent with World Artists Agency, Inc. for the music, film, tv, performing and visual art communities. She is a graduate from Nova Southeastern University School of Law in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida; She worked for the Legal & Business Affairs Department at Warner/Chappell Music Publishing in Los Angeles in the Spring of 2003. Ms. Fontaine is an accomplished singer having studied voice at the University of Central Florida, and performed with the Palm Beach Opera Company at the Kravis Center for Performing Arts in West Palm Beach. She has studied voice with Conductor Maestro Gaudagno and competed in the Miss Orlando Winter Park, & UCF Pageants, part of the Miss Florida Pageant System having won a Talent Scholarship for Voice in 1997.While at UCF, Nicolette also studied with Orlando Opera Director Robert Swedberg. Ms. Fontaine has coordinated informative seminars with industry professionals from 2002-2005 for various topics in the entertainment business. She was appointed as a Judge for the Miss Broward County Pageant in 2004; Nicolette received the Entertainment Industry Advocate Award at Lesesne's Media Group's, Miami Urban Entertainment Conference in December 2005 and the Honors College Alumni Professional Achievement Award; Ms. Fontaine is an active member of the National Academy of Recording Arts & Sciences, Sigma Alpha Iota International Music Fraternity, the American Bar Association, FL Bar Entertainment, Arts & Sports Law Sections and the FL Film Recording & Entertainment Council. Carlos Gittens (Civil Engineering '98 and an MBA in '00). Married since '00 with one child (son born 2003). Work at Jacobs Engineering in Orlando as a Project Manager working in the Transportation Department where my responsibilities include design, management and marketing for roadway and highway projects in the Orlando area and beyond. Very active since my UCF days in the Florida Engineering Society (FES) where I currently serve as Chapter President ('07-'08) as well as being a member and chair/co-chair on several state committees.

Carly Greenfield c/o 2001 (BS in Liberal Studies with a minor in Health Sciences) I am currently attending Life University, College of Chiropractic in Marietta, GA to become a Doctor of Chiropractic. Skye Guthrie I am excited to pursue my master's degree in business administration at Rollins College starting in the fall of 2008. I am lucky enough to have received a merit-based scholarship from Rollins, and look forward to varied internship and international consulting opportunities in my program. For the next two years, I will be living in Winter Park and available to mentor anyone interested in business, getting an MBA, going to Rollins, or any combination of those! Davin Hattaway (History, 2002). After graduating from UCF, I spent two years as a MicroBusiness Development Coordinator for four rural farming villages in Cabo Verde, in West Africa. Currently, I am an Account Executive with Potomac Management Resources, doing management outsourcing and event planning for small nonprofits and community associations in the Washington DC area.

Alexia Heller (c/o 2003 Psychology) I am currently the Internet Lead and Administrative Coordinator for Cross Country Healthcare in Boca Raton, FL. They staff RN & Allied Healthcare professionals on 13 week travel assignments all over the US and Virgin Islands. I'm basically the first point of contact for internet leads that come into the company, I search our system to see what stage in the application process (if any) they are and then allocate their file out to one of our many departments. Plus I keep track of advertising and marketing data. It's very busy and I love it. I am investigating the possibility of going back to school for something in OT or PT though, but that's still in the early info gather stages. Daniel Hodges- My wife Lauren (Honors Alumni, Creative Writing c/o 04) and I recently moved back to Central Florida after living in Wilmington, NC for a few years. While in Wilmington I earned an MBA from UNC-Wilmington and worked with PPD inc., a clinical research organization, as a Commercial Analyst. In December we decided to move back to Central Florida, and are currently living in Kissimmee. I recently accepted a position as an Internal Auditor for Orlando Regional Healthcare, and Lauren is working on completing her Master's Thesis (MFA in Creative Writing from UNC-Wilmington) on Florida Cattle Ranching. Graciela (Noriega) Jacoby (BS - Political Science '98; MPA '03). After graduating in 1998, Graciela moved to Washington, D.C. to work as a Team Leader with AmeriCorps*National Civilian Community Corps. Upon moving back to Orlando, Graciela worked with Red Bull Energy Drink as the Promotions Manager for Central Florida, the Linda Chapin Campaign for Congress as the Deputy Finance Director and is she is currently working as the Aide to Orange County Commissioner Teresa Jacobs. Jennifer LaBerge (c/o 2003 Liberal Studies) Immediately after graduating UCF I moved to the suburbs of Atlanta, GA, where I spent two years working as an artist and exhibited in several local galleries. I then pursued a BFA in interior design from the University of Georgia. My interest in architecture arose during my (now almost 2 year) internship with their Office of University Architects for Facilities Planning. Shaundre Lapic (c/o 2003 Computer Science). I currently work for NAVAIR here in Orlando. I travel fairly frequently for my job, including a trip to Amsterdam for the ITEC Convention in 2005. Kelly (Dunn) Lowenberg (English, c/o 1998). She continued at UCF through her masters in English and her education certificate. She married Chance Lowenberg, fellow Knight [Elementary Ed '97] in 2005. Carol Mancero (c/o '02) recently graduated medical school from the University of Miami and is a family medicine resident at Florida Hospital in Orlando.

Mari Mather(c/o '05 Women's Studies) completed a master's of arts degree in the Gender and Cultural Studies program at Simmons College in Boston, MA in January 2008. Her master's thesis focused on the manifestation of 9/11-related shared trauma in American horror films through storylines of torture, and the effect of this torture on viewers' proclivities for violence or emotional repair. As she contemplates her options of pursuing a PhD or finding a way to make the world a better place, she currently occupies her time by working for Harvard University. Erica (Tennesen) Max ('03 BA- Advertising/Public Relations and History) am living in Houston Texas with my husband David, who is attending the University of Houston for engineering. The job market is rough out here, so I am currently working at a psychiatry office. I am pondering returning for a MA in Communications or History. I'm still looking for a job in Communications, and would love to be working in non-profit. No kids yet, and our turtle Pedro is the first in what will eventually be lots of pets :)

Rebecca McCain (c/o 03 Interpersonal Communications). I moved to NYC in January of 2004 to pursue my dreams of acting. I have had minor success being cast in a number of NYU Student Thesis films in principal roles, a few small commercials (Sears, Pepsi), as an extra in a few films, and as a re-inactor on the Montel Williams Show. I have also been signed with an JT Talent Agency, BK Productions, and USA Model & Talent Management, since I moved here a little over a year ago. Currently I am auditioning and I hope that you will all see me soon on the small or big screen! I love the city, even the snow (but only sometimes)! I plan to be here for a few years to come. Jaime Morris (c/o 2001) After receiving my BA in English/Creative Writing at UCF, I moved to New York City to pursue a Masters in Publishing, and will graduate with my M.S. in May. I am currently an intern for Entertainment and Special Features at JANE Magazine, having previously worked for Bloomsbury USA and Byron Preiss. I also work for the Broadway show, WICKED, and do some volunteer and assisting work for its former lead actress, Kristin Chenoweth. Christy Newell (formerly Bricker) c/0 '03 Forensic Science. I currently live in Kodiak, Alaska, the first and largest island in the Aleutian Chain, with my husband, Michael Newell, who is an officer on the Coast Guard Cutter SPAR. We have been here since June 2004 and are transferring to our next duty station, location still to be determined, in the spring. I currently work for an accountant as there aren't many technical jobs available here, especially in the forensics field! We absolutely love it here. Christopher Pennington (c/o 03) is pursuing his juris doctor at St. John's University School of Law in New York. Christopher is a member of the St. John's National Trial Team, the Vice President of the Catholic Law Students Association, the External Affairs Director of the law fraternity Delta Theta Phi, and a member of the St. John's Student Bar Association. Mike Pfister (BA Economics and Political Science 2000): After heading to Switzerland for graduate school (International Economics), Mike spend 3 years working for the German Government and a consulting group focusing on economic development projects in developing countries. Since 2005, Mike has been working for the United Nations (UNCTAD) in Geneva/Switzerland, conceptualizing and implementing private sector development projects in South America, Africa and Asia. Brittany (Berstein) Richards (BA History, French minor c/o 2005) completed her Master of Public Policy with a concentration in Nonprofit Management from The George Washington University in Washington, DC in December 2007. Laura Rochet (c/o 2003 Advertising/Public Relations) is an Associate Instructor in the Department of Telecommunications at Indiana University-Bloomington, as well as the Senior Articles Editor of Volume 59 of the Federal Communications Law Journal, the official journal of the Federal Communications Bar Association. Her work experiences range everywhere from spectrum management research for the National Telecommunications and Information Administration in the U.S. Department of Commerce to media relations coordination for the Congressional Hispanic Caucus Institute. Julie Ruth (c/o 2003, BFA Musical Theatre, BA Psychology) is currently residing in New York pursuing a career in entertainment. This spring, Julie will make her New York City stage debut in the world premiere musical Butterfly Dreams, appearing as the primary lead, "Betty." The show runs March 10-April 9, 2005, at the famed Off-Broadway venue, The Wings Theatre. While at UCF, she performed several principal roles in Theatre UCF's mainstage musical productions, most notably "Polly Baker" in Crazy For You, for which she was nominated for an Irene Ryan Scholarship and was chosen to compete in the prestigious American College Theatre Festival. She also performed at Walt Disney World, appearing in the singing roles of "Cinderella" in the Magic Kingdom Castle Show and "Belle" in MGM's Beauty and the Beast show. Upon graduating from UCF in May 2003, Julie performed leading roles with the Milwaukee Skylight Opera ("Luisa," The Fantasticks), The Orlando Broadway Dinner Theatre ("Eliza Doolittle," My Fair Lady), The Chicago Shakespeare Theatre ("Anne," A Little Night Music), and Milwaukee First Stage Children's Theatre (" Miss Nelson/Miss Swamp," Miss Nelson Is Missing!). Jimmy Secretan (c/o 04 ComputerEngineering) is currently pursuing a PhD in Computer Engineering at the University of Central Florida under a National Science Foundation Graduate Research Fellowship. Abigail M. Schroeder, Esquire ©/o 99 English) received the 2005 New Attorney Award of Excellance from the Legal Aid Society for my pro bono work as a Guardian ad Litem. This award is given toan attorney in the first five years of practice who demonstrates a committment and dedication to pro bono work through the Legal Aid Society. Abigail is an attorney in downtown Orlando.

Sarah Schwemin (formerly Sarah Mazieka) c/o 2001 BSBA - Business Finance. I am currently working at a development company called Sandspur Housing in Maitland, Florida as a development assistant. My organization is part of a larger company called CED Concord. We develop, build and manage apartment complexes throughout the nation. My job entails coordinating plans and assisting in permitting to prepare a project for construction. I was recently married in April to John Schwemin (c/o 2001 MIS) and we are closing on our first home in early October 2004.

Veronica Scott (c/o 2003). In 2002, I completed a graduate certificate in Marriage and Family Therapy from the Orlando campus and graduated in 2003 with an MA in Clinical Psychology from the Daytona campus. I became a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) and Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in 2006. Nathan Selikoff (Art Animation, 04): During the last few years I have been creating artwork based on the mathematical concept of a "Strange Attractor." At UCF I was able to work on this project during an honors seminar entitled "Fractals, Chaos and Mathematics". My BFA exhibition in the UCF Art Department during Spring 2004 was based on this work. I have had artwork accepted to SIGGRAPH 2003 and 2004, and I have continued to create new artworkand submit it to competitions and galleries. Jonathan Slack (c/o 2004- Liberal Studies). I am currently serving in Afghanistan with the 36th Engineer Brigade at FOB Sharana in Paktika Province in eastern Afghanistan. Prior to deploying to Afghanistan, I served as an Assault Platoon Leader at Fort Hood and an Assault and Obstacle Platoon Leader in the Republic of Korea with the 2nd Infantry Division. I am also a graduate of Airborne School at Fort Benning, GA and the Peace Operations Training Center in Zarqua, Jordan.

Evan Small (c/o 05 M&M). I was one of only 6 people in the nation to be accepted into the MD/PhD program at the medical school of University of Illinois at Chicago, where I received a full 7-year scholarship + stipend.

Andrea Wesser (c/o 2004) is currently attending UCF to pursue her Ph. D. in Mechanical Engineering while working in the UCF Bio-MicroElectrical Mechanical Systems and NanoFabrication lab. She is an NSF IGERT/SKINS Fellow and is working on a skin-mimicked sensor as one of her many micro-sized projects that assist and/or improve the human body.
